During the academic year, Student Health and Well-being departments and student organizations can request to reserve The Zone as a space to host programs, meetings, or events related to health and well-being.
The Zone is available for reservations during Weeks 2-10 of each quarter
Monday and Friday
6:00PM – 8:00PM
Tuesday and Wednesday
7:00PM – 9:00PM
Reservation requests must be submitted at least two weeks' prior to the requested date. We do not accept weekly reservations unless otherwise arranged with The Zone Program Manager.
The Zone offers space for small group gatherings and can accommodate a variety of program set-ups. Please review our capacity limits below when planning your program, and keep in mind that if your attendance exceeds these limits, we may not be able to accommodate all of your guests.
ZONE CAPACITY LIMITS:
- Wellness Classes
- Yoga: Maximum of 12 people
- Zumba: Maximum of 20 people
- Meditation: maximum of 20 people
- Healthy Cooking Demo: Maximum of 25 people
- Study Zone: Maximum of 25 people
- Lecture Style/board-style meeting: Maximum of 25 people
The Zone is equipped with a variety of features including: a sink with hot/cold water, a cold/filtered hydration station, a media system with DVD/Blu-Ray and computer inputs, and fully adjustable lighting. We have chairs, (4) 4x6 tables, a cooking demonstration counter, kitchen supplies, and yoga mats for a variety of room set-ups.
