More About Me
I became interested in student health as my kids went through college and observed how they and their friends navigated the health care system with serious (and not so serious) illness. It was clear how important it was to have medical providers who were able to provide clear health education and promote self-care, and provide a safe space for more sensitive or emotional issues. I also have an academic career as a clinical epidemiologist with over 35 research publications.
