The Thrive Peer Health Coaching Program provides undergraduate students with personalized support and guidance from a trained peer health coach. In a one-on-one setting, our coaches will help you assess your desired well-being goal, create a behavior change plan using "SMART" goal-setting, and help you identify and develop the knowledge and skills to improve your well-being. Peer Health Coaches will also provide you with the resources and support necessary to attain your goal. 

Students can choose to get coached on any of the following topics: stress management, time management, improving sleep, healthy eating, and physical activity.

Interested in working with a Peer Health Coach to improve your health and well-being? Follow these steps to sign-up.
  1. Fill out the Thrive Peer Health Coaching form
    (Having trouble accessing the fillable form? Email for assistance.)
  2. Save the document after you have filled in all the fields.
  3. Email completed form to with the subject line "Secure: Peer Health Coaching"
  4. A Health Promotion Services staff member will review your request and contact you with details of your first coaching appointment.

Our trained Peer Health Coaches are excited to work with you on your health and well-being goals. If you would like to request a specific Peer Health Coach, please indicate their name in the "Comments" section of the Thrive Peer Health Coaching form. We will do our best to pair you with your requested coach.

I think that oftentimes, students neglect their well-being while prioritizing academic and professional obligations and I want to help change that culture.

I like to work out as well as make desserts, my top being chocolate chip cookies.

Why are you a Peer Health Coach?
I love growth! I love helping people realize their potential and work towards their goals. Personal health is often neglected in college but is essential to success, so being able to help students work on their own health is a privilege for me!

What do you do for self-care?
For me, self-care starts at making sure I'm meeting my human needs like at least 7 hours of sleep a night, healthy eating, regular exercise, and regulating stress by practicing mindfulness.

I am a Peer Health Coach because I want to help people feel healthy and happy - giving them the support and motivation to accomplish their goals!

The Thrive Peer Health Coaching Program is a partnership between Health Promotion Services, Associated Students Office of AVP Health and Wellness, and the Tritons Flourish initiative.
