- Mindful Relaxation
- Feeling tense and stressed? Do you want to learn new ways to de-stress and relax? Join us for peaceful experiential exercises. Mindful relaxation is a drop-in educational workshop series. We will practice mindful walking, relaxation through guided imagery, tactile mindfulness, progressive muscle relaxation, and more. Mindful relaxation exercises are an excellent way to de-stress, improve your sleep and health, decrease anxiety, relax and have fun! Leader: Natalie Rice-Thorp, Ph.D.

- Sleepless? Longing for sleep? You are invited to participate in an Insomnia Workshop. Learn about sleep and insomnia. Determine your "Sleep IQ" and receive concrete tips to improve your sleep. Workshop includes two 75-minute sessions (free for UCSD students!). Monday, October 26th & November 2nd, 11am-12:15pm at 190 Galbraith Hall. - Do you think about food...more than school, friends, love? You are not alone. Free To Be Me is a weekly education and support group that will help you improve your relationship with your body and with the food you eat. We will also help you identify and manage triggers for binge eating and purging. This 7-session building and educational workshop will meet Mondays @ 3-4:15pm (Oct. 19-Nov 30). - Massage Class
- Circulatory massage provides relaxation and tranquility from the stress and tension of long hours spent at a desk or high pressured days. Massage is one of the most ancient of the healing arts and can enhance your general health and well-being. Various massage techniques will be covered during the course and the students will practice on each other.

- Intro to Meditation
- Whether or not you have ever meditated, you may enjoy this sampling of meditation techniques guiding you to the blissful silence behind thoughts. Seated, standing, lying down and moving meditation techniques will be covered. Participants will learn to progress from form meditation to subtle meditation to fine meditation and finally to formless meditation. Experience the meditator, the subject of meditation and the process of meditation becoming one.
